I turned the sketch on its side with the strips of washi/paper at the top.
Instead of using beach colours, I took my inspiration from the pine trees that grow beside this beach. My 2 background papers are named "Forest Floor" and "Pine on Kraft.
Featured in the LH corner is Memory Maze corner reeds inked with sage green and gold.
It was such a hot day and the 2 girls were rolling and swimming at the waters edge. What a great way to cool off!
